Niamh graduated from TU Dublin Conservatoire of Music and Drama with a BA Hons in Drama (Performance)in 2022. During her final year she performed in “LOVE AND INFORMATION” by Carly Churchill and Directed by Ronan Phelan. In her early years of training, Niamh was part of the Monaghan Youth Theatre Group.
Since graduating Niamh has been in several physical theatre productions. Her most recent one being “Hear Me Speak” by Miriam Needham. She has worked with visual artists Lisa Freeman and Jesse Jones. Niamh has also collaborated with choreographers Murine Bloomer and Dr. Niamh Shaw on the CoisCeim Broadreach project: “BUILDING SPACES OF POSSIBILITY”.
In 2022 Niamh was chosen to be part of the Young Emergence choreography programme with Noise Moves Festival. Her piece “Philadelphia Here I Come” was inspired by the play of the same name by Brian Friel. Niamh then went on to perform as Inga Ingram in the world periere of “Looking” by Emily Bohanna at the Smock Alley Theatre and Civic Theatre.
In 2023, along with Sarah Deane, Niamh Co-Founded Confession Box Collective. This collective is a place where artists of all disciplines can have a space to show their work who have not yet received funding. They staged their first production “Static Women” in July 2023.
She is now studying a masters in movement directing and the Royal central school of speech and drama. She has a love of puppetry, Disney and costumes. She is a big kid at heart
